Chairman of Mansoura University receives the delegation of the National University Commission (NUC) in Nigeria to discuss ways of cooperation

Prof. Mohamed El-Kenawy, Chairman of Mansoura University, received the delegation of the National University Commission (NUC) in Nigeria ,headed by Prof. Ibrahim Aro Dania, Deputy Director of commission. The delegation includes Dr. Ibrahim Mohamed Ahmed, Dr. Olamid Adither Edzina and Dr. Mohamed Mabrouk Abdel Aziz. In the presence of Prof. Reda Sayed Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Amina El-Nemer, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Prof. Mahmoud El-Jaidi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts for Education and Students' Affairs, Dr. Hossam El-Din Mostafa, The meeting discussed means of cooperation between Mansoura University and the Nigerian Universities in various aspects such as: Engineering, Arts, Commerce, Nursing and Agriculture. Dr. Ibrahim Aro Dania, Deputy Director of commission, pointed out the importance of cooperation with Egyptian universities, most notably the University of Mansoura, which is characterized by outstanding excellence in many fields. The commission wishes that their students to study in Mansoura University to transfer educational experiences from it to students from different cities in Nigeria.
For his part, Prof. Mohamed El-Kenawy stressed the importance of cooperation with African universities, especially Nigerian universities, and that the university is always happy to welcome the Nigerian students to study at Mansoura University and there are many students studying in some faculties as Faculty of Medicine and Nursing. He added that the university will play its role and be the ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt on the African continent through soft power, that’s education .At the end of the meeting, the delegation visited some of the educational medical centers and hospitals of Mansoura University, including: Ghoneim Center for Kidney Surgery Urology, Gastroenterology Center, Faculty of Nursing.
